The Milwaukie Poetry Series sponsors poetry readings on the second Wednesday of the month, September through June.

These readings by local Oregon poets are approximately 40 minutes in length with a Questions and Answer period following. They are recorded and play on the Ledding Library YouTube Channel. If you would like to be considered for a reading, please submit a copy of your latest book and a short biography with contact information to:

The poet should include a stamped, self addressed envelope with their submission if they want the book (s) returned.

Submission sent by June 10, 2022 will be considered for the 2022-2023 Season.

Submissions sent after that date will be considered for the following Season. Poets will be notified by email of the result. Books of poets not selected for a reading in the current Season may remain on the consideration list for the following Season. Poets may be asked to participate in other Milwaukie Poetry Series events if they would like at the discretion of the Milwaukie Poetry Series.
